Lydia McFarlane is a J.D. Candidate at Brooklyn Law School, scheduled to graduate in 2020, with a background in Administration of Justice from Howard University.

Originally hailing from St. Andrews, Jamaica, Lydia is currently a resident of Queens, NY, where she is deeply involved in legal and community service activities.

She has a diverse educational background, including studying Engineering and Architecture for her Advanced Regents Diploma and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Administration of Justice from Howard University.

Lydia's educational journey also includes pursuing a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a focus on Finance at Brooklyn Law School.

Throughout her academic and professional career, Lydia has been engaged with various organizations, such as The Legal Aid Society, The Sheldon Law Firm, and The Law Office of Russell D. Morris, PLLC.

She has also contributed her skills and expertise as a Legal Intern at New York Community Services Society and Youth Represent, further showcasing her commitment to public service.

In addition to her legal pursuits, Lydia has held roles such as Vice-Chair and Senator at the Howard University Senate Association, demonstrating her leadership abilities and dedication to academic excellence.

Her experiences extend beyond the legal field, as she has served as a Summer Camp Counselor at Dwight School, Treasurer at Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and model at Hollister Co., reflecting her versatility and involvement in various industries.

Lydia McFarlane's extensive background includes roles ranging from Legal Assistant Paralegal at CARIBBEAN LEGAL SERVICES LIMITED to Counselor at The Harlem School of the Arts, highlighting her diverse skill set and commitment to making a positive impact.
