Dr. Lydiah Kemunto Bosire is a seasoned professional with over 14 years of experience working with various prestigious organizations such as UN entities, the World Bank, NGOs, and academia.

Her expertise lies in tackling political, human rights, and development challenges faced by low-income and conflict-affected states, with a focus on areas like development and aid effectiveness, rule of law, transitional justice, human rights, conflict resolution, gender justice, and global health.

Throughout her career, she has held key roles at the World Bank, the UN Secretariat, the Executive Office of the UN Secretary-General, the World Health Organization, and the UN Population Fund, where she contributed significantly to various initiatives and policies.

Dr. Bosire is known for her exemplary skills in policy and advocacy, strategic planning, program development and evaluation, training and capacity development, as well as partnership management and external relations.

She is an alumni of the University of Oxford, holding a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Science degree, and also a graduate of Cornell University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Government and a Master of Public Administration.

Currently, Dr. Bosire serves on the Advisory Council of the UWC Atlantic College and has been involved in co-founding initiatives like the Oxford Transitional Justice Research and serving on the Board of Directors of Keep and Child Alive, showcasing her commitment to social impact and empowerment.
