Many Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) partners continue to do outstanding research on the metrics of women in cybersecurity. That's the pipeline and we are working on it. But what about the LEAKY PIPE? What does retention look like for women in cybersecurity... and how about advancement?
These are the conversations we continue to have with our strategic partners, conference sponsors, members and more. How can we gain a better understanding of retention/inclusion for women in the cybersecurity workforce so we can put INTENTIONAL actions in place that strategically overcome the challenges that women face when it comes to career growth and advancement.
We need MORE data. We have to gain a better understanding so we can make progress and level-set the conversation with more industry leaders. So, I'm kindly reaching out because I'm calling all men, women, and nonbinary individuals in cybersecurity to participate in an inclusion assessment workshop to learn more (and trust me, you will learn so much... the information is fascinating)!
The goal of the study is to identify the barriers that keep women from being recruited, retained, and advanced at the same rates as their male counterparts. A full report will be distributed in early 2024, and your contributions will help us, as a nonprofit, continue to move the needle for many! 💫
Workshop (all workshops are the same; you only need to attend one): Dec 5, at 12:00pm Eastern Time (US and Canada) Dec 5, at 05:00pm Eastern Time (US and Canada) Dec 6, at 10am Eastern Time (US and Canada) Dec 6, at 03:00pm Eastern Time (US and Canada) Dec 7, at 09:00am Eastern Time (US and Canada) Dec 7, at 01:00pm Eastern Time (US and Canada) Dec 8, at 11:00am Eastern Time (US and Canada) Dec 8, at 4:00pm Eastern Time (US and Canada)
