Lynn Stout was a Distinguished Professor of Corporate and Business Law at Cornell University and an internationally recognized expert in corporate law, corporate governance, financial regulation, and ethical behavior.13 She was born on September 14, 1957, and passed away on April 16, 2018, at the age of 60 after a long struggle with cancer.23
