Announcing Soda AI and our GenAI-first experience.
I promise: this is not Yet Another GenAI post.
When Tom and I started Soda, we focused on building productivity tools that brought software engineering practices into the data & AI space. Today, we're happy to announce that we've achieved our next milestone with the release of Soda AI and our GenAI-first experience. For this first release we've focussed on the Analysts, in our next blog we'll focus on Data Engineers.
Analyzing Data? Finding Issues and their Root Cause? Getting Playbooks to Fix Issues? Soda AI got you covered! Let data engineering teams help you, the Analyst and our end-user of Data & AI, detect and prevent the data issues that are worth fixing. Use Soda AI to contact your data producers and align on DQ expectations.
I recommend all of you to adopt software engineering best practices like Soda AI to successfully go to market with your data products!

Announcing Anomaly Dashboards in Soda Cloud!
The Anomaly Dashboards release is a first release in a series of Data Observability features that we are bringing to our customers.
Data Observability is all about providing data engineers the tools to detect & debug data pipelines in production. Many data teams are still flying blind when it comes to datasets they don't have under testing yet. Soda's Anomaly Dashboards fixes just that.
As companies are increasingly relying on outputs of data products for decision-making and automation, it's important to understand what's happening to these outputs, as well as the internals of data products (e.g. intermediary tables). Starting today, you can monitor those in Soda Cloud without the need for much configuration.
When customers speak about observability, they often mention alert fatigue in the same sentence. That's why we've started-off with opt-in alerts and integrated those with our popular notification rules. This way, users can build a collection of what's important, and route alerts to the right teams based on metadata.
