Highlights
WHEW!!! It's HOT out there! I got up super early today to check out the farmer's market that's maybe 100 feet from my front door. I barely opened the door, felt the whoosh of heat/humidity, and took myself right back to bed.
Now is a great time to think about those folks on your team that don't have the option to go back to bed: your drivers, your order selectors, your production crews, and facilities maintenance teams. PRO TIP: It doesn't take a whole lot of time or money to stock some coolers with ice, water, and Gatorade. Make them available to the critical staff handles the tough stuff, rain or (excessive) shine, so you can go back to bed.
🚚 🛠 📦 🌲
Spent a few days in lovely Norfolk VA this week at the C2ER: Council for Community and Economic Research conference. I forgot to grab a “Virginia is for Lovers” t-shirt but did manage to bring home this nice bit of memorabilia.
BIG LOVE AND THANKS to my amazing colleagues at GMERG: Tecora Murray , Abby Latture , Donnell Word and Diamond Young !
