Macy Jeffery Ring, MEd, is an accomplished higher education professional with over 14 years of experience in the field, known for being an exceptional communicator, mentor, and a valuable team player.

Macy has a strong background in appreciative student advising, education abroad, high-impact practices, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), as well as scholarship management.

Having received accolades like the Student Affairs Global Citizen Award from UC Riverside and multiple nominations for positive impact and exemplary service from UC San Diego, Macy is recognized for her contributions to student success and academic excellence.

Educationally, Macy holds a Master's in Educational Technology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from the University of California, Riverside, and has completed study abroad programs focusing on International Relations and Affairs at Yonsei University and Anthropology and Art at The University of British Columbia.

Throughout her career, Macy has held various roles in prestigious organizations like UCR Center for Undergraduate Research & Engaged Learning, Diversity Abroad, and University of California institutions, where she served in diverse capacities ranging from Program Manager to Assistant Director.

Macy's research interests include high-impact practices, intercultural reflexivity, and student development, showcasing her dedication to advancing knowledge and improving student experiences in higher education.
