Lots of updates!
On May 11th, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Film Production (& two minors in Animation and Screenwriting). I was awarded with a Presidential Citation, an honor given to seniors who have displayed service and leadership in the LMU community.
Two weeks after graduation, I completed my first post-grad job: editing promotional material for Disney! I feel so fortunate to have had such a positive first freelance experience and hope to cross paths with Disney again very soon. Special thanks to Patrick Alcerro, my former supervisor and dear friend who referred me for the job, and Sofia Pizzuti, one of the most talented editors I know, who worked beside me as the only other female editor during our wonderful few days with Disney!
Looking forward, I'm excited to announce that I will be moving to Dublin, Ireland to pursue an editing career overseas. I don't know how to thank everyone enough–for having faith in my abilities, for sponsoring my films, for reaching out with job recommendations. All I know is that without the help from my incredible community, I would not be enjoying postgraduate life to the extent that I am. So thank you, everyone, and may the love you've given me be returned again (and again and again!).
