Madeleine Gorman is a dynamic and pragmatic lawyer with a tech-savvy edge, specializing in IT, SaaS, consumer protection, and e-commerce platforms. She is a qualified Solicitor of England & Wales and a Barrister & Solicitor of the Law Society of Ontario.

Having pursued a diverse educational background, Madeleine completed her BA at McGill University, followed by a Master of Laws in Advanced Studies (LLM Adv) from Universiteit Leiden / Leiden University, and a JD from The University of Western Ontario. She also undertook academic exchanges at the National University of Singapore and the University of Nottingham.

Professionally, Madeleine has held key positions at renowned organizations. She contributed as Legal Counsel at Airbnb, previously serving as the Associate Counsel, EMEA. Prior to Airbnb, she was the Legal Counsel (Team Lead) at Bynder and an Attorney at Law at Greenberg Traurig, LLP.

Madeleine's journey also includes academic and research roles, having been a Lecturer at Leiden University, a Trainee (Articles) at Lafontaine & Associates, and at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) as a Trainee (Articles) in the Appeals Chamber. She also gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant to Dr. Jean d’Aspremont and as an Advisor / Legal Intern at the Permanent Mission of Canada to the United Nations.
