Madeline Baird is a public health professional with extensive experience in malaria case management and health program implementation. She worked as a Technical Advisor for Malaria Case Management at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. from October 2017 to October 2021, based in Panama.3 During her tenure, she contributed to research on community health worker programs for malaria surveillance and case management in remote and indigenous communities of Panama.12

Currently, Baird is pursuing a PhD in medical anthropology as a Doctoral Candidate in Anthropology at the University of Connecticut.3 Her research focuses on using ethnographic methods to explore constructions of health inequity, human rights, and healing.
