Magdalena (Mags) Gronowska is a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience in regulated financial, electricity, and carbon markets, as well as 5 years in the digital asset industry.

She possesses a unique skillset combining regulatory knowledge with hands-on experience in crypto exchanges, wallets, Bitcoin funds, mining, and industry advocacy.

Magdalena serves on the Board of Advisors for the Digital Securities Commission of El Salvador and has been instrumental in building a clear regulatory framework for the future of finance.

She played a key role in 3iQ Digital Asset Management's IPO of North America's 1st regulated, TSX-listed Bitcoin Fund, setting the stage for Bitcoin ETFs in Canada.

As the Vice President of Business Development at Coinkite, a leading Bitcoin company, Magdalena drove global growth and scaling initiatives.

She also co-founded Citadel256, an enterprise-scale Bitcoin mining company, and MetaMesh LLC, a crypto consulting and multimedia company.

Magdalena is overseeing the Quadriga digital currency exchange collapse as a Supreme Court appointed Bankruptcy Inspector, leading decisions on asset recovery, blockchain investigations, CRA and law enforcement requests, and the claims process.

Following the Quadriga incident, she initiated an industry coalition to address Canadian regulators regarding proposed crypto exchange regulations and sits on the Board of the Canadian Blockchain Consortium's Mining Committee.

Apart from her cryptocurrency expertise, Magdalena has a strong background in regulatory affairs, working closely with government organizations and legal teams to interpret laws and develop business-friendly regulations.

She has a proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects in the public sector, providing strategic advice to government officials and corporate executives.

In her educational journey, Magdalena studied Business Administration and Management, General at Schulich School of Business, Emerging Leaders Management Program, M.A.Sc., Civil (Environmental) Engineering, and Honours Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Economics, Chemistry at University of Toronto and University of Toronto Mississauga.

Throughout her career, Magdalena has held various roles in organizations such as PRTI Inc, Coinkite Inc., QuadrigaCX, MetaMesh LLC, 3iQ Corp, Canadian Digital Asset Coalition, and Blockchain for Climate, showcasing her diverse and extensive experience.

Adding to her professional accomplishments, Magdalena is a Volunteer Firefighter & Emergency Medical First Responder in her community, demonstrating her commitment to public service and community well-being.
