As Co-CEO, Chief Innovation Officer, and Chief Schools Officer, she oversaw critical operations, strategic investments, and support services that dramatically enhanced the quality and availability of public school options in the city. Under her visionary leadership, Maggie spearheaded initiatives that helped launch over 30 schools, effectively doubled NSNO’s talent development portfolio, and was instrumental in creating the Common Core programming adopted by a significant portion of the city’s schools.
Prior to her impactful tenure at NSNO, Maggie founded KIPP STAR College Prep Charter School in Harlem, New York City, after graduating from the prestigious KIPP School Leadership Program. As the founding principal, she successfully cultivated aspiring school leaders who went on to initiate and lead their own high-performing institutions. Her leadership at KIPP STAR earned the school the title of the highest-performing public middle school in Harlem’s District 5, showcasing her ability to drive academic excellence and foster a culture of success.
