Maha Chehlaoui is an award-winning creative producer and social change strategist with a background in theater arts and international relations. Passionate about inclusive storytelling, Maha has a wealth of experience in developing and producing films, plays, and events for historically excluded communities. She currently serves as the Program Director for the Think Tank for Inclusion & Equity, working towards a more equitable entertainment industry.

Having transitioned from acting to producing post 9-11, Maha has been a driving force in identifying talent and advocating for underrepresented voices in the entertainment world. She has a diverse portfolio of projects, including award-winning short films like Brothers and Ubuntu, showcasing her commitment to authentic storytelling. Maha's unique skill set enables her to navigate the challenges and opportunities inherent in producing projects that amplify historically excluded narratives.

With a strong educational background that includes an MFA in Theater Arts from Columbia University and a BA in International Relations from Tufts University, Maha brings a blend of artistic creativity and strategic insight to her work. Her experience spans across organizations such as Pass the Mic Media, Noor Theatre, and the Arab American Comedy Festival, where she has held key leadership roles fostering diversity and representation.

As a consultant and producer, Maha has collaborated with various advocacy groups and initiatives, facilitating conversations around equity, inclusion, and social justice. She has been involved in industry fellowships and training programs, further honing her expertise in amplifying marginalized voices in the entertainment landscape. Maha's journey from New York to Los Angeles reflects her commitment to driving positive change and creating a more inclusive media environment.
