Maha Elgenaidi

Maha Elgenaidi is the Founder and former Executive Director of the Islamic Networks Group (ING), with a strong passion for promoting understanding and cultural competency.

She has extensive experience in authoring training resources for Muslim Americans, designing programs for cultural literacy, and fostering connections between diverse religious and ethnic communities.

Maha earned a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from The American University in Cairo.

Her expertise has been showcased through teaching, presentations, and advisory roles in areas like combating Islamophobia, exploring Islam in the contemporary context, and advocating for civil rights.

Recognized for her significant impact, Maha has been honored with several prestigious awards, including from the FBI, the California Association of Human Relations Organizations, the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, and the NAACP.

She has provided expert advice to influential bodies such as the CA Commission on Police Officers Standards and Training, the County of Santa Clara Hate Crimes Task Force, and the Freedom Forum.
