After pursuing a fashion design course from Polimoda in Italy, Maheen started her entrepreneurial journey in 2017, aiming to promote Bangladesh as a sustainable fashion producer on the global stage.

Her extensive involvement in the garment industry includes volunteering during the Rana Plaza incident and co-founding a social organization to support victims.

Maheen's career path led her to work as a Country Project Manager for a US tech startup, where she engaged with garment workers to improve their work environment through data-driven initiatives.

In 2020, she spearheaded the 'Voices from the Frontline' project, capturing and sharing stories of community resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, Maheen is exploring ways to merge her sustainability expertise in fashion with climate change adaptation efforts to foster a more sustainable and equitable world.

Her educational background includes studies in Fashion Design, Marketing, and Sustainability Science from reputable institutions like Polimoda, Macquarie University, and Maastricht University.

Maheen has held various roles in organizations such as WWF Netherlands, International Centre for Climate Change and Development, LaborVoices, and Monokrome, showcasing her versatile skill set and dedication to social and environmental causes.
