Rev. Dr. Malcolm T. Byrd is a distinguished figure with over 28 years of service in local government, specializing in Faith-based and Public/Private Partnerships.

He served as the Director of the Mayor's Office of Faith-based Initiatives in Philadelphia for approximately 12 years and has a background in Behavioral and Ambulatory Health Care and Health Promotions.

Dr. Byrd is actively engaged in academia, serving as an adjunct faculty member at multiple institutions, including Eastern University, Lancaster Bible College, and Capital Seminary and Graduate School.

As a community leader, Dr. Byrd is the President of NewCORE, a forum dedicated to racial reconciliation, and the President of the Philadelphia Forum for Faith, Law, and Civics.

He is deeply involved in Interfaith Dialogue and has traveled to Israel, Sierra Leone, South Korea, and Turkey to engage in cross-cultural conversations.

Dr. Byrd holds several degrees, including a Doctor of Ministry, Master of Divinity, Master of Theological Studies, Master of Governmental Administration, and Master of Education.

His commitment to education extends to serving as a presenter at national conferences and symposiums.

In addition to his professional and academic roles, Dr. Byrd is a pastor at Hopes Beacon Baptist Church and an Associate Minister at Zion Hill Baptist Church of Philadelphia.

He has also been involved in volunteer leadership positions focused on Hunger Relief and Education in local nonprofit organizations.

Dr. Byrd's involvement in various clergy organizations in Philadelphia signifies his dedication to community service and spiritual leadership.
