He has spent 20 years in the oil sector and 10 years in top-tier management consulting roles. Recently, he has transitioned to self-employment, where he focuses on consulting projects, particularly in social ventures.1

Highlights
After working for 37 years, including the last almost 7 years in the for-purpose sector at Social Ventures Australia, it is time for a big change. While it is traditionally called retirement, I am using a different r-word: rebalancing. My “rebalancing plan” has 4 pillars: Family, Friends, Personal Passions and Impact. As part of that final pillar, I hope to continue to make a small contribution through Advisory and For-Purpose Board work. But first I will be taking a break! Thank you to all of my Social Ventures Australia colleagues and clients – it has a been a privilege to work with you and play my part in making Australia a place where all people and communities can thrive.
Excited to share the news that after over 3 years as Executive Director of Consulting at Social Ventures Australia I am handing over the ED role to the my talented colleague Susanna King (Susie) who will be a brilliant leader of the team. I will be continuing as a Director in SVA Consulting, working with our clients to help create an Australia where all individuals and communities thrive.
