Mandela SH Dixon is a pioneering figure in the tech industry, having started her entrepreneurial journey in Silicon Valley after leaving her PhD program at the age of 25.

She is widely recognized for her contributions to the startup ecosystem, such as raising venture capital as one of the first Black women in Silicon Valley and scaling Startup Weekend Education globally.

Mandela's impact extends to her role as the Portfolio Services Director at Kapor Capital, where she managed a diverse portfolio of tech startups and spearheaded initiatives for diversity and inclusion in the VC space.

In 2017, she founded Founder Gym, a renowned program that has empowered underrepresented founders in over 26 countries to secure venture capital funding.

Mandela's leadership was further showcased during her tenure as the CEO of All Raise, a non-profit dedicated to advancing women in tech and venture capital.

Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavors, Mandela is an active angel investor, Sequoia Capital Scout, and a respected thought leader who has shared her insights on numerous platforms globally.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Intercultural Communication, a Master's Degree in Education Administration & Policy, and progress towards a Ph.D. in Urban Schooling at UCLA.
