There’s a lot of buzz about wellness tech—expensive gadgets, supplements endorsed by podcast hosts, and one-stop solutions. But let’s be real, not everyone can afford an infrared bed or weekly NAD injections. Instead, I explored three wellness tech items and documented how they helped in my recovery.

2023 was a year my health wishes it could forget. After 10 months battling a toxic mold situation, I spent a month at a clinic in the heart of New York called Mocean. Mocean offers a range of therapies, technologies, and protocols for managing chronic health conditions often overlooked by western medicine.

Unable to afford weekly trips to New York, I enlisted Dr. Joshua Park, Mocean’s founder, to help me adapt their methods for home use without breaking the bank.

Of course, none of this tech replaces the basics: rest, exercise, healthy eating, and mental well-being. But for those with the means, these technologies can be a game-changer.

Thank you for this sweet little feature TrooRa Magazine . It’s easy for me to get caught up in the things that still need to be done and what’s next, I often forget to look back on where it all began and the lessons I’ve learned. This conversation was a great opportunity to do just that and share part of my journey.
