I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chair and Head of Corporate Development at Mayo Clinic!
Last year, Mayo Clinic embarked on a journey with our partner Eclipse Ventures to create resilient and sustainable manufacturing for Radiopharmaceutuicals because it was right thing to do for patient care, and Nucleus Radiopharma (https://nucleusrad.com) was born. As I posted here a year ago, when you are the #1 medical institution with the world’s largest nuclear medicine practice dedicated to the best interest of patients, you have to lead the way and can’t wait for others to solve the needs of patients... Thanks to the efforts of Nucleus management/Board, investment partners and support of Mayo/Eclipse leadership, the company has made great strides in a short time and has achieved its major funding milestone to enable its mission. We understand that we have miles to go on this path in our continuous effort to stay true to Mayo's promise to patients that their needs will always come first. But today, it indeed feels like this early step for Nucleus could become one giant leap for the industry and patient care... Congratulations Nucleus team!
