Reflecting on the collective meltdown of the past few days since the presidential debate. Holding tenderness for all of us fumbling through all of the stages of grief. Wondering what it would look like to accompany one another through acceptance. Squinting at the horizon, where we might go from here.
Part of my journey has been learning about how our democracy was influenced by the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. And also: the peace-keeping and leadership practices and positions that were disregarded and disrespected in the process. From the little I've explored this past year, the answers that we are looking for may start from remembering where we came from.
