Highlights
It doesn’t take much to grow your ideas. Just a little light, a little love, and a little attention, and they start to grow roots, they start to sink in, they start to grow big enough for other people to see them. #thinkdifferently
I’ve always admired professional skateboarders. They make a living, doing what they truly love; riding a skateboard. But the model in which they earn a living is very unique. Rather than work for just one company they receive income from a variety of companies with whom they trust and have a brand relationship.
For example, they get income from skateboards sponsor a different one for wheels another for trucks another for shoes, etc. I really love this model to be honest and I’m curious if there’s a pathway aside from freelancing or consulting to build a similar model for professionals.
Like could I get sponsored by HubSpot , Canva , Milwaukee Tool (they have the best markers), Stan's Donuts & Coffee , Vans , bigtruck® , Littlefoot Coffee Roasters, Shure Incorporated and Riverside.fm if I put their stickers on my computer and wear some swag?
A boy can dream… #thinkdifferently
