Marc Parees is a professional with over twenty years of experience in directing, writing, and producing television, commercials, film, and theater, focusing on delivering engaging storytelling.

He recently worked on a series of short films called Interior Life during the pandemic, showcasing his ability to create compelling content even in challenging circumstances.

With a background that includes a BFA in Drama from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, and an MFA in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Kanbar Institute of Film and Television, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his projects.

As the Creative Director and Producer at The Popular Minority LLC, Marc has demonstrated his skills in project management and storytelling, aiming to create visually striking narratives that resonate emotionally with the audience.

His work often focuses on exploring the relationship between queer and inclusive stories and mainstream audiences, using comedy to help viewers connect with diverse characters and perspectives.

Throughout his career, Marc has collaborated with various organizations and production companies, taking on roles such as 1st Assistant Director, Editor, and Assistant to the Director and Co-Executive Producer on multiple projects for major networks like ABC Studios and NBCUniversal Television.

His passion for storytelling extends to his personal life, where he strives to inspire others and challenge perceptions through his unique vision and creative approach to filmmaking.
