I am at #cop28!

I have been really busy, working with the local community of Climate Fresk UAE as well as other freskers who believe that climate education plays a pivotal role in making sure that we go in the right direction to address climate change. Education is not only for young people to take action in the future. Education is also for the people who are in power now. I believe decision-makers at every level(business, government) need to take inform decisions to undertake action, and many lack the information needed.

There are some days left to see where the negotiations lead us, but it's important to highlight the work that many community-based, and global organisations and leaders are doing. I am here to connect with them, and reinforce their message as well as forge strong bonds and collaborations. I am also here in a place where people act on the urgency of the matter, which reminds me that our work is not isolated.

I am here until the end of COP, if you are around, feel free to reach out to figure out how we can work together.

It's been several weeks now that I have re-joined La Fresque du Climat/Climate Fresk as the International Mobilisation Manager, supporting the mobilisation team, country coordinators and volunteer communities around the world, helping them spread climate education !
