Marcie Smith is a dedicated individual who has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to various organizations and causes in Georgia. She was honored as a '40 Under 40' recipient by GeorgiaTrend Magazine in 2022. Marcie served as the Volunteer Coordinator for the HHC 201st Soldier Family Readiness Group of the Georgia National Guard and held the position of Co-Treasurer and President-Elect for the Rotary Club of Canton. Her involvement in philanthropic endeavors includes being a member of the Center for Effective Philanthropy Grantee Voices Panel.

Marcie's commitment to community service and professional excellence is evident through her receipt of the 'Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch in Cherokee County' Award in 2022. She actively participates in various committees and boards, such as Prevent Child Abuse Georgia, Salem Camp Ground, Cherokee Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee, and the Board of Governors of the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce.

With a strong educational background, Marcie holds a Master's degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from Norwich University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Birmingham-Southern College. She has also completed programs at LEAD Atlanta and Leadership Rockdale, further honing her leadership skills and civic engagement.

Throughout her career, Marcie has taken on leadership roles in several organizations, including serving as the Executive Director at The Children’s Haven and Phoenix Pass, Inc. She has also held positions at Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, Insider Newspapers, Sims Elementary as a Teacher, Vision Tutoring, LLC as a Tutor, and volunteered as a Teacher in American Samoa through WorldTeach.

Marcie's extensive experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, advocacy, education, and community engagement showcases her diverse skill set and passion for making a positive impact. Her active involvement in various boards, committees, and leadership positions highlights her dedication to serving others and contributing to the betterment of her community.
