Maree Sidey is a seasoned professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in the non-profit sector.

She obtained a Certificate in Management from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Literature from the University of Melbourne.

Her educational journey also includes studying Language on a scholarship at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a Master of Business Administration focusing on Social Impact from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, as well as specialized courses in Strategic Perspective in Non-Profit Management and Women in Leadership.

Maree has held key positions in various organizations, including serving as the Chief Executive Officer at the Australian Communities Foundation, and as the Head of Community Programs & General Manager of Good Sports at the Australian Drug Foundation.

She has also contributed her expertise as a Director of Communications and Public Relations at headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation, and as the Acting Director of Corporate Affairs at Orygen, The National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health, among other roles.

Currently, Maree Sidey serves as a Non-Executive Director at the Centre for Australian Progress, showcasing her commitment to fostering progress in the Australian community.
