Margaret "Peggy" Minnich recently retired as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of The California Wellness Foundation after a successful career spanning nearly three decades.

During her tenure at the Foundation starting in 1992, Peggy was an integral part of the executive management committee, overseeing a broad spectrum of functions including accounting, investments totaling a $1 billion portfolio, cash management, taxes, risk management, human resources, facilities, information technology, and grants management.

Notable projects under her leadership include the development of an impact investing strategy that led to the deployment of a $50 million impact investing carve-out and the successful build-out and relocation of two offices in Los Angeles and Oakland.

Peggy's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Accounting from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, complemented by an A.B. in Philosophy from the same institution.

Prior to her time at The California Wellness Foundation, Peggy served in various financial roles, including as a Manager of Financial Planning at Micom Communications and as an Accountant at Ernst & Young.

With a wealth of experience in financial management, investment strategies, and operational oversight, Peggy Minnich has left an indelible mark on the non-profit sector during her remarkable career.
