She has also served as a Racial Justice Intake Specialist at Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights in the San Francisco Bay Area, showcasing her commitment to social justice issues.

Furthermore, Margaret's passion for community service is evident through her volunteer work as a Lutheran Volunteer, Summer Research Assistant at Kettering Foundation, and Staff Assistant at Lakota Family Ymca.
