Margaret Winikates is a dedicated museum professional with a diverse background in art, history, and science museums. She also boasts experience in primary and secondary education, where she has excelled in promoting creative interdisciplinary exhibitions and programs with an emphasis on hands-on inquiry learning.

In addition to her practical experience, Margaret is the author behind the interdisciplinary education blog, "Brain Popcorn," and showcases her creative writing skills in various genres such as poetry, young adult, and genre fiction on "Sea Dreams and Time Machines." Her specialties in museum education include interdisciplinary program planning, interpretive writing, exhibit design, graphic design, and effective staff management and communication.

Margaret Winikates holds an impressive educational background, having pursued studies in Museum Education (C.A.G.S.) at Tufts University, English Literature and Language (B.A. cum laude) at Harvard University, and Arts Administration (MA) at Boston University. She also attended Boston Latin School during her formative years.

Throughout her career, Margaret has been affiliated with several esteemed organizations, where she has held various roles. She currently serves as the Director of Engagement at the New England Museum Association.
