Margaux Cowden holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Comparative Literature from UC Irvine and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Ohio University's Honors Tutorial College. With a diverse educational background, she has established herself as a prominent figure in academia and leadership roles.

Margaux currently serves as the Director of the Emory Scholars Program at Emory University, where she demonstrates her passion for education and mentorship. Her leadership skills and academic expertise have also been recognized through her previous roles, including Director of the OHIO Honors Program and the Cutler Scholars Program at Ohio University. Moreover, she has contributed to the academic community as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Williams College, an Assistant Professor focusing on teaching and instructional duties at Temple University, and a Teaching Associate at UC Irvine.
