MARIA BOYAZNY is the Founder and CEO of MB Global Partners, a New York-based firm focused on providing bespoke capital solutions to businesses via opportunistic credit and special situations private equity investments. MB Global manages capital on behalf of Fortune 100 companies, state and corporate pension funds, endowments/foundations, insurance companies, and multi-billion dollar family offices.

Over the years, Ms. Boyazny has served on the Advisory Boards of many leading asset management firms investing in the U.S., Asia, and Europe.
Before launching MB Global in late 2010, Ms. Boyazny was a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at Siguler Guff & Co., a New York-based private equity firm. Ms. Boyazny oversaw its flagship Distressed Opportunities Funds I, II, III, and IV from inception to $4.5 billion in assets over 10 years.
Prior to her private equity career, Ms. Boyazny was a member of the Investment Banking Division of Smith Barney Inc., where she specialized in providing merger & acquisition and other corporate finance services to financial institutions. Ms. Boyazny graduated with a degree in Economics, with a concentration in Finance and minor in Mathematics, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her M.B.A. from Columbia University.
