With extensive experience in ML disciplines such as contextual bandits, reinforcement learning, deep networks, and causal inference, Maria's expertise also extends to ML infrastructure, data engineering, and backend systems at scale.

Prior to Spotify, Maria played pivotal roles at Netflix, where she led causal ML initiatives and drove the Adaptive Experimentation working group, revolutionizing experimentation capabilities.
