These past few years have truly tested my resilience, strength, and patience. In September 2020, I unexpectedly lost my job of 19 years due to the impact of Covid. Instead of idling away, I seized the opportunity to explore my creative side and began crafting wreaths. This modest venture gradually evolved, encompassing cakes, cookies, chocolate-covered delights, and charcuteries. While my passion for creating is fulfilling, the seasonal nature of the business doesn't cover the mortgage. However, it granted me the invaluable gift of time with my sons, allowing me to support my terminally ill little sister and advocate for her, instilling in me a sense of pride as I initiated and built something from scratch.
Fast forward to 2024, I had the privilege of working with an exceptional organization for a few years. Yet, I find myself once again on the lookout for my dream job.
