Highlights
Humor builds bridges. Sarcasm burns them down. Dry wit? It stays in between with brilliance.
We often laugh with those who use humor to build relationships.
But we roll our eyes at those who use sarcasm to cut down others.
The ones with the most wit know when to use humor and when to use irony.
✅ Humor brings people together. ❌ Sarcasm drives people apart.
✅ Humor comes from self-awareness. ❌ Sarcasm comes from insecurity.
✅ Humorous people respect others and make them laugh. ❌ Sarcastic people dismiss others and make them cringe.
Dry wit keeps one's humor grounded. ↳ It's self-deprecating. It's clever. It's relatable. ↳ It wins in the long run.
Dry wit isn't about being mean. ↳ It's about knowing when to be funny and when to be serious. ↳ And being open to feedback.
Dry wit builds audiences, laughter, and character.
Humor drives us forward.
Sarcasm pulls us back.
Ready to lead with wit?
Start by acknowledging your own weaknesses. And learn to laugh at yourself.

When a corporate leader says: we are like a startup, don't be fooled.
Startups and corporations operate in different worlds.
Their nature and priorities don’t align.
Here’s what I’ve observed.
🛼 Entrepreneurs thrive on:
Scalability, Speed & Agility. ↳ It’s all about moving fast and scaling up.
Customer-Centric Approach. ↳ Customers are at the heart of everything.
Innovation & Disruption. ↳ They love shaking things up.
Leadership & Influence. ↳ They lead with vision and impact.
Autonomy, Freedom & Ownership. ↳ Independence is non-negotiable.
On the other hand...
💼 Corporate Professionals value:
Stability & Security ↳ A solid foundation matters most.
Structure, Process & Cross-Department Collaboration. ↳ They work best within a well-defined system.
Brand Reputation. ↳ A strong, reliable brand is fundamental.
Leadership & Influence. ↳ Influence within the organization is crucial.
Career Progression. ↳ Climbing the corporate ladder is a priority.
Understanding these differences is crucial for collaboration and growth.
And to decide which nature of organization to join.
Or to launch something of your own.
