Marie Callens is a dynamic and innovative professional specializing in the field of commercial engineering and product management. Marie obtained her Master's degree in Commercial Engineering from the prestigious University of Antwerp, equipping her with a strong foundation in economics, business, and strategic planning. Her academic pursuits took her on an international journey, beginning with an Economics International Exchange Program at Université de Montréal - HEC Montréal in 2006, where she gained valuable insights into global markets and the intricacies of international business. Following that, she participated in an Intensive Program at Université de Poitiers in August 2007, further broadening her knowledge and skill set in the field. In addition to her degrees, she has also enhanced her professional qualifications at Vlerick Business School, a renowned institution that is known for its focus on entrepreneurship and management skills.
Before her current role at Floorify, Marie honed her expertise at UNILIN, a leading manufacturer of flooring and panel solutions, where she held several key positions. She started her journey there as a Sales & Marketing Trainee, where she climbed the ranks to become the Lead Product Manager for Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT). In this capacity, she was responsible for overseeing product development from conceptualization through to market launch, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with consumer demands and market trends. Marie also served as the Product Manager for B-Brands and Private Labels, managing the portfolio and strategic positioning of various products within a highly competitive landscape. Her tenure at UNILIN solidified her reputation as a knowledgeable and skilled product strategist who effectively merged operational excellence with creative marketing solutions.
