It was a very inspiring, mind-blowing and enriching class which will enable me to work with cancer patients and their families, friends as well as colleagues. I’m extremely grateful that the LebensHeldin! e.V. connected me. Supporting clients and their network who face the cancer challenge is a privilege and I feel very honored to work in this field.
I’m also very grateful for the support that LebensHeldin! e.V. recently received during the Berlin Fashion Week where we had a stand on February 8th in the Verti Musical Hall thanks to the initiative of the WE4FASHIONSHOW and Rebekka Ruetz. today I would like to use this opportunity to share with you that I recently started to support the remote NGO LebensHeldin! e.V. as a volunteer. Our #NGO LebensHeldin! e.V. supports women who have been effected by the diagnose Breast cancer and who are seeking for support to gain back trust, strength and courage after going through a very challenging time of their life. #empoweryourself The NGO was founded 5 years ago by Silke Linsenmaier and Isabella Ladines - two wonderful women - and is strongly supported by our patroness Angelika Schindler-Obenhaus.
I recently had the honor to present the LebensHeldin! e.V. at the last Herbsttagung of the Healthcare Frauen e.V. , to visit the trade/off Summit for „Business growth in the era of AI“ as well as the transform_d summit of the Deutsche Stiftung für Engagement und Ehrenamt. Allow me to share that this is a completely new world for me, but at the same time a huge enrichment to meet amazing, inspiring, creative and highly motivated people who have a clear purpose that supports others! This environment also provides you with numerous challenges (e.g. how to be able to support all your members, how to finance the future portfolio develop of new support opportunities, etc) and one needs to be ready for the long haul! I personally have huge respect for all volunteers who spend their personal time to make a difference!
