Currently serving as an Eligibility Worker II at Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services, Marissa assists participants in managing their public welfare cases. Her career goals revolve around public administration, Human Resources/management analysis, and community services analysis for a government agency or school district. She is driven by a passion for prison justice, aiming to advocate for at-promise youth and incarcerated individuals.

Marissa has a diverse background with past roles including a Legal Assistant at Rodnunsky & Associates, Congressional Intern at U.S. House of Representatives, Student Advocate/Mentor at Freedom 4 Youth, Global Intern at University of California Education Abroad Program, and various other internships and managerial positions.
