Highlights
It's been challenging -- and fun! -- to help think through the issues with implementing this pilot on West 45th Street in Manhattan to reduce rodents and spruce up our sidewalks for pedestrians. Big props to NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY) and its parters CITIBIN, CHEKPEDS INC and Christine Berthet for not being afraid to try new things and to learn from what we're doing in real time. As the former NYC Rat Czar this is extremely exciting moment! (And, no, I'm not applying to do that again, despite the many dozens of you have have sent the current posting my way... tho it pays considerably more than when I did it lo those many years ago.)
