Highlights
What in tarnation is Donald Trump doing, spraying tons of verbal abuse at Harris, calling her, among many other things, ‘nuts’ and anti-Jewish (although her husband is Jewish)?
Trump’s wild, untargeted and unfocused rhetoric makes him seem like he is afraid of, a to-be-expected, Democratic surge after Joe Biden’s dropping out – it appears like he wasn’t expecting ‘Sleepy Joe’ to drop out at all.
To stay in front, especially in the swing states, Trump needs to tone down the rhetoric and abuse; treat Harris politely but dismissively, rather than raise her as an existential threat.
Stop talking only to the Maga base and focus on telling non-Maga Americans why he remains the only possible choice based on his first-term record, while contrasting Harris’s record, both as Vice-President and US senator, and in her California politics period when leading California Democrat, Willie Brown, was her political sugar daddy.
If Trump keeps on the indiscriminate mud-slinging path of last week, he could lose.
I’ve just spent an hour listening to the farce of Kimberly Cheatle’s testimony before Congress. She is an arrogant and severe threat to the security of America. She should NOT resign. She doesn’t deserve that courtesy. She must be unceremoniously fired in disgrace.
