🌏 Innovation and Collaboration in China! 🇨🇳✈️
I recently had the incredible opportunity to visit China, immersing myself in the rich culture and exploring the country's manufacturing landscape. During my trip, I visited four remarkable manufacturing locations and was privileged to engage with brilliant R&D associates. In just one week we witnessed the commercialization of technology that will drive innovation and sustainability, and ensure our freedom to operate. The experience left me with three key impressions: the agility of the business, the resilience of the people, and the immense growth potential that lies ahead.
1️⃣ The Agility of the Business: China's business ecosystem astounded me with its remarkable agility. The manufacturing facilities I visited were equipped with state-of-the-art technology and displayed an unmatched level of flexibility and adaptability. 2️⃣ The Resilience of the Associates: Despite facing numerous challenges and obstacles in the last few years, the associates exuded resilience and a remarkable ability to bounce back. Their dedication to continuous improvement and relentless pursuit of excellence were truly inspiring. 3️⃣ The Growth Potential: China's growth potential is nothing short of breathtaking. As I delved deeper into discussions with R&D associates, I was captivated by their visionary ideas and innovative solutions. The investment in research and development across our categories including gum, chocolate, fruity confections, and ice cream, and the impact on the global stage cannot be overstated. The China team’s pursuit of innovation and technological advancement including digital commerce will drive future growth and shape the landscape of #Mars worldwide.
