Mark Sakamoto

Mark Sakamoto is a versatile professional with a background in law, music, broadcasting, and politics. With a Bachelor of Laws degree from Dalhousie University, he has worked at a national law firm, a national broadcaster, and as a senior political advisor.

In addition to his diverse career, Mark is also an entrepreneur and investor in digital health and digital media. He currently holds the position of Executive Vice-President at Think Research, an international cloud-based software company in Toronto where he oversees business development.

Mark Sakamoto is a celebrated author, known for his book 'Forgiveness: A Gift from My Grandparents,' which won CBC Canada Reads and became a national best seller for two consecutive years. The book is now in development for screen and theatre adaptations.

Furthermore, Mark is the Host and Executive Producer of 'Good People,' a popular docuseries on CBC Gem, produced in collaboration with Vice Media. The show delves into global challenges and the innovative solutions being implemented to address them.
