Last week I got a nice surprise of learning I had won the "Microsoft Gold Club Award". 2% of Microsoft gets this award so it is a big deal and it comes after 8.5 years at Microsoft helping drive the Azure Business. I guess perseverance pays off. These awards recognize individuals but in reality they recognize the work of many people you work with every day that enable the success you get recognized for - It is a team sport all the way. There are way too many to note here so let me call out the Central Europe Leadership of Michelle Simmons, Aliya Nazarkasimova, Melissa Luongo, Sarah Walsh, Alfredo Giannattasio, Jonathan Woodward and Bartosz Stebnicki for their trust, support and collaboration over the last 12 months. I also want to call out some of my close fellow partners in crime of Eduard Bartko, Łukasz Foks, Lucian Ungureanu and Ewa M. plus Wibke Laier, Alessandra Capogrosso, Ondřej Kareta, Tomasz Kaczorowski, Jan Kleczkowski, Zoltan Kalo, Irina B., Adi Morun, Dima Turchyn and Stasa Podgorsek. No doubt I missed naming someone but know that I am grateful for everything you did even if not named here!
