Distributed systems in the cloud are fun--and maybe one of the most interesting and challenging parts is figuring out how make them perform better, go faster, and handle more traffic. Imagine if your day job was figuring out how to take a system that's already handling billions of logins per month all over the world, and make it even more performant. You'd get to work with lots of software engineering teams and architects, contribute directly to core code, and get a view on how all the pieces of the machinery work together. Big charter, big impact, tons of cool people.

(You'd also have to put up with me, but hey--no job is perfect!)

If that all sounds like an awesome challenge, let's talk! I'm looking for a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead performance engineering for the Okta Customer Identity Cloud! More details here:

Thanks Todd Lewis and team for another wonderful edition of All Things Open! I may be a little biased since Auth0 by Okta 's own Ceora Ford was in the keynote lineup, but I thought today's keynotes were absolutely fantastic. This whole event is awesome every year and keeps getting better (which is no mean feat after over a decade). If you weren't here this year, be here next year!
