TECH PLATFORM RECYLING. I'd like to think this is where the power of Linkedin really shines. If you know anyone in this field, please tag them or send this onto to ensure our tech investment goes to a worthy venture.

When we launched PIGEON we developed a fantastic platform and well engineered code to allow people to:

  1. Create a profile
  2. Book a video meeting
  3. Host a video meeting
  4. Collect payment for that time in the video call into your nominated account. We spent over £250k to develop this platform with confirmed approval from HMRC for R&D tech credits for up to £660k of tech expenditure.

The tech details of the platform are: The code is written in Python using Django to provide the web application framework and using Django templating engine to provide the UI views supplemented with custom javascript, unpoly and tailwind for UI layout and responsive functionality. The codebase is thoroughly tested with a high unit test coverage. We are using a postgres 11 as the database. We have the below integrations, to supplement the custom application code

  1. Twillio for video calls and messaging.
  2. Transloadit for image processing and storage
  3. Stripe for payment processing and subscription management. The codebase repository is on Github in a private repository The application is hosted and served from Heroku (Platform as a service) We are using AWS for database (RDS), artefact storage (S3) and email sending (SES)

The entity is also fully approved for EIS tax relief.

We are fully open to working with a new venture to use this platform and to ensure you don't spend what we spent getting set up for the functions we've created. As more and more platforms offer the opportunity to engage with professionals and experts 1:1 over video, we know these features are very timely and we'd really like to see this tech utilised.

Please let me know if you're interested to discuss using the tech or know anyone who might be able to use the tech to ensure the work we invested in saves someone else the time and money for their venture.

Thank you.
