There are many ways to double the revenue without reducing net profit. Here is one example...   Working with Topper, the quick win was increasing conversion rates and improving customer lifetime value.   Goodfair is already a recognized brand, and they already have decent traffic, but once people go to the website, the experience could be better.   In short, to improve the revenue, we have worked on: -Improved website copy (including Topper's mission throughout the website) -Simplified website layout -Improved product offering (added product bundles) -Improved lead magnet to increase first-time purchases -Automated email sequence   One takeaway from this is: Be unwavering in what your business stands for, and then articulate that on your website. Then make a no-brainer offer to your customers (at least for a first-time purchase).   So when potential customers are on your website, they are either instantly repelled or attracted to what you offer. This will provide you with better customers with a higher customer lifetime value who will be proud to promote your brand (for free).   That creates a flywheel effect simply because you weren't being vanilla or just trying to offer the "cheapest" product.

Here's how a client:

  • Increased AOV from $110 to $150
  • Decreased customer acquisition costs $105 to $17

This client is in the fishing niche, and basically, there were 5 essential elements to having a successful growth strategy.

  1. TRAFFIC ACQUISITION

He had a couple of buyer-intent articles on the first page of Google but not in the first position.

That's low-hanging fruit! 🍾

I've created a process for him to do a content upgrade.

He expanded his articles and, right now, 8 out of 12 of those articles are now ranked in the first position.

  1. ORGANIC LEAD ACQUISITION

When people read those articles, they are promted to complete a quiz to determine their ideal fishing kit.

  1. PAID LEAD ACQUISITION

All of the money spent on ads was moved to drive people to those articles, with the goal of turning visitors into leads by having them take the quiz.

This had a significant impact on the CAC.

We didn’t need to rely on a discount to get people through the door.

  1. FLOW

Once people had completed the quiz, we sent them to a page where they would get:

✅ Personalized insights on what their ideal fishing kit is

✅ Recommendations on what they should NOT spend money on

✅ Fishing product that they need but they weren't aware of (that's the product we are selling)

Those who bought a product immediately were redirected to a Thank You page that had an Order bump, but for everyone that still hadn’t made a purchase over two days, we sent them an automated email sequence.

But not some generic salesy email sequence with a discount code or "time-limiting" promo.

No.

The email sequence was about educating people about product awesomeness.

It's basically showing the customers how the product works and how it makes their fishing experience better.

There was no mention of price AT ALL.

It was all about improving fishing experience.

During this process, we have converted around 30% of people who completed the quiz.

  1. ORDER BUMP

People that purchased the product got an offer to buy a mini video course on the top 15 little-known ways to use this product.

Order bump was only an extra $40, and 60% of people took this offer up.

That's it.

I could mention a process of gathering UGCs and referral discounts, but this was the gist of the flow.
