Highlights
Hopped on MSNBC this week for the first time to talk about my latest story about the redemption story of a Georgia county. Such a full circle moment from starting my career off at MS running scripts to Rev. Sharpton when the most airtime I got then was being a prop 😂. Nearly a decade later I’m back to share my own reporting. That’s nothing but favor. Truly blessed.

Had a blast moderating my first National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) panel with the home team NBCU Academy/NBC News all about the importance of implementing natural sound in reporting. Joined by an elite group of journalists, we tapped into why it’s important to plan ahead and the importance of embracing the unexpected. It was an added treat that my Emma Bowen Foundation family was in attendance as well.
