I figured out out something really cool — that you’re probably already doing — that is GENUINELY changing the world without you even realising it!!! It helps you in your job, sure, but it also means you’re saving the world, nbd.

Also, I didn’t want to derail by talking about it, but the friend I mention — Mark Hayward — is literally a PROFESSIONAL YOYO PLAYER YES THAT IS HIS JOB. (absolutely nothing to do with why he is mentioned though 😂😂)

[Image description: Marsha looms over the camera with — as per — an excited look on her face, and a brightly coloured frock on her bod. Part way through, she holds up a child’s deranging hairbrush to the camera. It makes sense in context.]

Best moment of my year so far!!! I cannot imagine a more powerful way to have an audience connect with you than to have them feel like they are INSIDE YOUR ACTUAL BRAIN. That’s what storytelling does, and on Monday, I got to experience a whole room full of people going through that, with a storyteller I’d coached. This is the story about that happening!

(And if you want some support either getting people in your org telling better stories, or improving YOUR storytelling skills in keynotes or presentations— give me a shout. You can ping me on here, or book a free call in at yesyesmarsha.com/call)

[Image description: a video of Marsha in a blue on shouldered dress covered in red poppies. She’s looking into the camera and smiling and laughing. Inexplicably, just as the video begins, she scratches her nose in a way that looks like she’s giving it a Dick Van Dyke In Mary Poppins-style tweak.]
