We all imagine innovation as a lightbulb going off while we expect it the least; creativity something that catches you while you are going about your life, the genius of a moment that changes everything.
But truth is, in business innovation and creativity are fundamental ingredients to build the future. And cannot be left to luck.
The good news is: there are ways to engineer teams, projects, business models, companies, to foster and harness innovation and creativity. To generate more sparks and to execute, turning them into fires.
This week I had the honor of bringing an incredible group of Endeavor Founders to MIT for the first ever Endeavor MIT executive education program. We heard from brilliant faculties about their research, frameworks and practices to implement technology, foster innovation and facilitate creativity in teams, companies and products.
True leadership comes with humbleness to learn and a burning desire to improve. And I could not be more inspired by our founders, who keep striving for growth. I learned so much from every ah-ah 💡 and ahah 🤣 moment.
Thank you to the incredible Shari Loessberg, faculty Director, for her tireless passion for Endeavor and the network. From the day we dreamt of this in São Paulo in 2022 to her (again in São Paulo!) pitching the idea to David V Capodilupo a year later. And here we are, thanks to Stu Krusell and Sophie Sithamma , we have brought this to life!

For a while, I'd been marinating on my #TheRightBet story, inspired by Nathan Cohen's idea to capture Endeavor staff testimonials after Annie Duke's talk. I had maaany drafts, but none felt quite right. Until today I read Silvia Cavalcanti Mashable article again - and got to type this.
I moved to California on January 1st, 2020, on a memorable trip when I saw the sun rising from the airplane window for hours as we flew west “back in time”. But settling into the Bay Area became a complex task. The pandemic hit, isolating me from loved ones in Italy. Going from frequent trips, to social distancing felt extreme. My identity, once heavily tied to my career, felt lost. I craved a job in data science and innovation, but not the stereotypical Silicon Valley culture. I wanted to be part of a meaningful community, one that truly mattered. As an aspiring parent, I also dreamt of a work environment that wouldn't immerse me in the toxic cycle I was trying to break free from.
Finding an open position at Endeavor felt like a dream. "Sr. Manager, Enterprise Software Portfolio" was everything I'd ever wanted - supporting high-growth software founders across 40+ markets, collaborating with a global mission oriented team, all while being based in the heart of Silicon Valley. Each interview solidified the connection; I just wanted in.
Fast forward three years, and it's undeniable: Endeavor was #TheRightBet. I get to be a geek, forge lasting relationships, and create value through impactful programs and initiatives. I've built a network of incredible colleagues and met inspiring individuals. All while becoming a mom a year ago, along side colleagues that became peers and mentors in this crazy journey.
Yet, life isn't always sunshine and roses. But what truly pushed me to write this today was revisiting Silvia's Mashable article. It resonated deeply with me and, I'm sure, will relate with many of you here.
"Running on false posturing adds an exhausting layer of stress... We all experience self-doubt and anxiety. By not admitting this, we become trapped inside an unattainable version of ourselves."
I find immense inspiration in Endeavor's team and network, in their ability to navigate hardship with consistent commitment to the mission of transforming economies. Our entrepreneurs teach us the power of resilience every day. The right bet, I believe, is a place where vulnerability is not a weakness, but a strength. And I think I've found that place at Endeavor.
This is my #TheRightBet story, a testament to the transformative power of finding a place where you truly belong.
