A little late..

But I just wanted to recap on some personal growth.

👾 Towards the end 2021, I had entered my very first game jam, along with 3 other designers. Through a week of rigorous designing and prototyping, we developed a functional game on Figma. It was a pleasure working with Caio Gobbo, Chelsea Vang, & Kristine Xie, an awesome set of designers! Thank you to Design Buddies for hosting the Game Jam '21 and letting us participate to end a rollercoaster of a year! I'm happy to say we won 1st place through the community votes! 🏆 Try "Pizza Hunt" out: https://bit.ly/3Kh8uOF (We are in no way affiliated with such a delicious brand and name of a pizza; the jam theme was food, so we thought of the best. 🍕)

👨🏻‍💻 And to start off 2022, I attended my very first Design Systems Hackathon through Into Design Systems. It was amazing to see original ideas brought to life and being able to "scratch that itch". Our beginner-friendly team aimed create a basic component library, but I loved how our fresher group wanted to go a beyond simple and design an accessible system for the color-blind and visually impaired. Our sample brand, FloraGo, was the perfect challenge to balance color contrast with floral visuals. It was a great experience putting atomic design along with accessibility into practice! Thank you to Crystal Chan, Katelyn Dacus, Prince isaac, Roy Kim, Francis Medalla, Okpala Blessing, PhD, Dimitra Panagopoulou, Jenny Tran, Lidija Vidović for being a really amazing team and pushing through those 24 hours! Very special thanks to Silvia Bormüller for hosting a wonderful event! Check out how we made it: https://bit.ly/3tzDl30 (Extra thanks to Crystal for such a rad case visual! 🤩)

That's it. I wanted to post so my activity feed isn't so dry, and to change up the job hunting pace. I'm doing stuff. Happy 2022. Thanks everyone. 🥳
