Twenty years ago yesterday, on Bastille Day, P&G made a decision that transformed Carat, Aegis, and my own life. Their appointment of Carat to handle four of their US business units sent ripples through the industry and set me on an unexpected path.
What was meant to be a "couple of years" in New York turned into two decades of incredible experiences. I'm immensely grateful to the original team at Carat – David Verklin, Bruce Dennler, Joanne Burke, Paul Williamson, Jake VanderLinden, Kristen Jones, Georgia Pavlounis, Keith Lusby, Doug Ray, John Leeman, Amy Eagle, and so many others – for their talent, dedication, and camaraderie.
A special thank you to the P&G team who took a chance on us – Ted Woehrle, Cindy Tripp, Greg Ross, Phillip Maloney, Kirk Perry, Tina Maloney, and countless others. I'm proud of the work we accomplished together.
Happy Bastille Day! Here's to bold decisions and the unexpected journeys they can lead to. #P&G #Carat #Aegis #Media #Marketing #BastilleDay
Okay, I am back in the land of the UNHACKED again. Apologies to everyone for the spam, although that offer of $300 sounded really good. Seems I may well have been one of the several hundred thousand accounts that got "stolen" a few years back, so if you haven't changed your password for a while....beware! Anything happened since I was away?
